The Centre has been
completely rebuilt following a fire that destroyed the roof.
The building has a single main hall that
can house around 60 people comfortably. There is a well laid out
kitchen, a store with tables and other equipment, toilets, including a
disabled toilet, and good access. Parking is available for around a
dozen cars plus local on-street parking.
It may be hired for a morning, afternoon
or evening session or on a
regular basis. Please contact the centre for bookings (see above for
phone number) |
Plans to
provide greater accommodation for young people and leisure activities
for all ages are well under way in consultation with users and including
Overslade Church
Overslade Residents Association
Rugby Borough Council
Warwickshire County Council
The new Centre will house a Community Worker and
management staff so that the Centre is "open all hours" for young people
to have somewhere to go and for the Community to have "drop in"
facilities for all kinds of other users |
