Life, what is it like? Some say it is a dream, others call it a joke
Discover Christianity. Start! is a  introduction to the Christian faith for use in six sessions in small groups. It is designed to help you:
     - think through where you are going in your life:
     - to ask questions about the Christian faith
     - discover the good news of Jesus
     - consider how you want to respond to it - and to him
The sessions assumes no previous knowledge of anything Christian.
They use a mix of DVD input, time to chat, simple discussion activities and space for reflection, all in a style which is down-to-earth and honest, and which aims to be enjoyable too.

Alpha
Alpha is a 10-week introduction to Christianity for those who would like to explore what Jesus Christ came to planet earth for. Each session lasts about 2 hours or so and begins with an excellent meal before introducing the topic of the evening.

The discussion is in small groups giving you the chance to talk about your own understanding and problems with Christianity and a speaker before the discussion presents the main issues for that session. Starting with "Why bother", the course ranges through "Why did Jesus die?" to "Prayer", "What about the Holy Sprit" to "How does God Heal" and "What next?"
